Positive: Great customer service and room was phenomenal. We booked the Troya. Super clean, great bathroom, super spacious and really had the wow factor! The grounds were pleasant and lots of spaces within the lodge to sit and spend time in.
Negative: The cost of food and beverages were definitely on the pricier side. Our room rate didn’t include breakfast and was then an extra £20 a head on top. The food itself was delicious and beautifully cooked, but be aware that extras like coffees (such as latte/flat white and soft drinks were then additional.
Summary: Beautiful lodge, fabulous getaway

Positive: Good quiet location, house with grounds, near M5 and Bristol. Food is excellent. Staff very polite and helpful. Ev charging points in car park. It is quite a small hotel, which I liked. The view from the second floor room was out to the channel, with a small balcony through french doors. Large bathroom, with slipper bath.
Negative: Room was querky! We were on the second floor, so in the roof. The beams were low and slightly awkward to get around the room, as the bed was too big, and difficult to get in and out of both sides. The kettle was too large to fit well under the taps to get water. Large bathroom, with bath which we both liked. It could have done with a magnified shaving mirror. The actual mirror was on the slanted ceiling, and so not at all helpful...but querky! I would call it a room of interest.
